The community of Whistler has been very generous with scholarships for the students that graduate from Whistler Secondary School. In the past there has been an average of about forty scholarships available. We hope that this is a tradition that will continue. Each year a scholarship booklet is printed for the grads to help them decide which to apply for. Information about each scholarhip is also available by clicking on the links below:

Criteria:
Awarded to the student who has best demonstrated the qualities of leadership in the school & the community, a respect for his/her peers and teachers, a positive energy and enthusiasm for academics and sports, and good judgment and integrity in his/her everyday life
Selection Process:
Students do not need to apply for this award as the successful student will be selected by the staff and administration of Whistler Secondary based on their observations of the noted criteria.

Amount: Full (4 year) Scholarship + $3500 (20 awarded), $500 MeritAwards (60 awarded)
Criteria:
-Students will have made a significant contribution to their community ie. Among young people, elderly, sick, arts, sports, environment, etc
-Students will have taken effective steps towards addressing the issue
Selection Process: Application deadline is Oct. 31, 2003. Winners announced April, 2004 for a Sept. 2004 entry.
